Viami was created by a couple planning their own wedding — who discovered there was no simple, beautiful place to bring it all together.
The idea for Viami started when we — Claudia and Mikkel — were in the middle of planning our own wedding. We needed a place to keep track of everything, something easy to use that we could share with our toastmaster, wedding party, and family. At the same time, we had so many fun ideas for things we wanted to do with our guests, and we wanted to find inspiration from vendors — but there was nowhere to bring it all together.
Mikkel happens to be a developer, so he built a beautiful website for our wedding — with invitations, seating plans, photo sharing, a wishlist, and everything we had dreamed of. And Claudia? She simply thought it was too beautiful and clever not to share with others.
So here we are. Viami wasn't built by a big company with a marketing department — it was created by two people who were right in the middle of it and thought: "everyone should be able to have this." Our mission is to give you the same overview, the same joy, and the same tools to make your celebration truly special.
